I received this bandana from a woman who was closing up her secondhand store to move into a new location. She is a friend of a friend of my mothers, and a very nice woman. I'd gone over because she was having a moving sale, and was also offering to give away fabric and materials to people who wanted them. We talked for a long while, and she told me I could pick out something in the store, free of charge.
In the bottom left hand corner is the maker's mark- Hemlock 067. The brand changed names from Hemlock to Handker in 2024. Though this design isn't available on their website anymore, I was able to find some old listings on other retailers that identified the pattern as being named Nyla.
The Handker brand itself started in 2019, and their website goes in-depth on the founding and mission statement and all that. The bandanas are produced in India, individually screenprinted and handmade. They also sell quilts, pillows, kaftans, and other handmade blockprinted or screenprinted goods. (As well as printed fabric bundles, which I'm definitely eyeing...)
This is my go-to bandana. The color is vibrant but not overpowering, the design delightful, and the material perfect for tying back hair.
